Tū Māia 2023 - Reflections with Lavina Edwin

Tū Māia had a very profound impact on me. So it helped me to reconcile my role as a public servant as part of the Crown and being Māori, gave me the language to express that. It disgorged my brain of all that internalised thinking. One of my team, I asked them for a little snippet. She said it's given her history, it's given her a connection to culture, spirituality, language, and for her personally provided a way to reconnect with herself, think outside the square and wholeheartedly embrace the experience.
